Leading a small team of Level Construction Designers in developing mechanics, tools and pipelines for current and future projects.
Gamewide mechanics prototyping, building, animating and documenting while working closely with the design and code departments across multiple studios.
Designing, building, animating and implementation of level gameplay, set pieces, cameras and effects using in-house editors.
Documenting and sharing new mechanics and tools information with the team via an internal wiki and tutorial meetings.
Scripting gameplay and level flow using an in-house visual scripting interface.
Using Maya to build, rig and animate LEGO props for story set pieces as well as incidental interactables and cameras.
Technical level design support for a team of around 20 Level Construction Designers.
Feeding back on the teams work.
Creating simple tools for Maya using MEL and Python as well as liaising with the tech team for aiding the development of more advanced tools.
2D and 3D Level design.
