About Me

I have always had a huge passion for games, film and media and I've been tinkering with the technology behind them for as long as I can remember. My love of videogames coupled with my interest in playing with the latest, greatest technology and solving the most interesting puzzles, paved my way into an education and career in the games industry.

I have been working in the industry for over 14 years, primarily as a Technical Level Designer. The role allows me to use the creative side of my brain to design levels, while also testing my problem solving skills and technical abilities when scripting and implementing the design.

During my career, I’ve been able to work at some amazing studios with wonderful, creative people and work on fantastically received games such as Horizon Call of the Mountain, LEGO Star Wars the Force Awakens, and LEGO City Undercover. I’ve been involved in many aspects of game development such as level design, tech design, UI design, game design, 3D modelling and animation. I’ve been a team leader, pitched new projects, been involved in research and development, training, mentoring and hiring.

Outside of work I love to learn. I like sitting down to a documentary, taking up an online training course or diving into the latest release of Unreal. I've usually got a prototype mechanic or game idea on the go. I also love food, film and skateboarding!
